The riches of spirit...

We were both sick today. I have a bad cold and Donna had a bad stomach ache. Donna's weekend aide did us both a favor and went out to the store to pick up something Donna badly needed. Neither of us asked her to do us this favor...she volunteered! That's the type of person she is. She really cares for Donna and would do anything for her. She does a great job caring for Donna 5 mornings a week for very little pay. How come people like her, who make barely enough money to survive, seem to be far more generous and caring than those who have been blessed with SO MUCH more? I wonder why it is that the people with the biggest hearts seem to be the ones who have the least in terms of material wealth...yet they manage to give so much of themselves.
